001
What is Ground Armor?

Ground Armor is a flexible concrete
impregnated textile fabric available in 3
different manufactured thicknesses that hardens on hydration to form a thin, durable, water and fire proof concrete impregnated layer.

002
What can Ground Armor  be used for?

Ground Armor 1 has a number of applications in the civil construction and
military sectors including Hard Armored ditch lining, slope
stabilization, pipeline protection, roofing, foundation blinding,
asbestos containment, water tanks, flood defenses, shotcrete
replacement, culvert and tunnel lining, building cladding, sandbag
reinforcement, gabion reinforcement, expedient resurfacing and dust
and weed suppression.

003
How is Ground Armor manufactured?

Ground Armor 1 is actually Concrete Cloth manufactured by Milliken Industries in
its LaGrange, GA, production plant using specialized machinery designed by Milliken Industries & Concrete Canvas Ltd. to impregnate a custom cement blend with various admixtures into a 3D synthetic fiber matrix, with a PVC coating on one, ground facing, surface.

Does Ground Armor provide fire protection?
Ground Armor Concrete Cloth/ Concrete Canvas have achieved Euroclass classification B-
s1, d0 which is the highest achievable level for combustible materials.

Neither has been certified to the lower North American Standards yet.

How should Ground Armor Hard Armor be stored prior to use?

Material should be stored in dry conditions, away from direct sunlight
and within the manufacturers sealed packaging.
What is the Field Serviceable Lifespan of Ground Armor Hard Armor?
Since Ground Armor is a relatively new material there are no long term installations in place to base lifespan predictions on however extensive laboratory testing in real world simulated conditions of Sun,Freeze, Thaw and extreme water and shear flow surface measurement indicates that a comfortable predictive lifespan for properly installed Ground Armor would be 35 years to as long as 60 years in most environments.
What watertypes are used to cure/harden Ground Armor?
Ground Armor will fully cure under using fluids, even Salt water and highly acidic fluid environments. The material begins curing after the first 2 hours of exposure to fluids and will reach approximately 50% of it’s fully cured compressive rating of 5,000 p.s.i. in under 24 hrs. In 48 hours the material is at full compressive strength.
